SWEET SWEET SWEET THE BEAT: SARALUNDEN Recorded in Lobotom Tonstudios in Ulvsunda on a 16 channel tape
recorder during 2005. The sound is luxurious and sweet to your ears, but still
with the saralunden rawness. I’ve used a lot of different keyboards, piano,
organs, harmonica, micro korg, Yamaha synthesizers, Roland synthesizers but
also a bit of recorder, which was my first instrument as a kid. I started
learning how to play guitar sometime late 2003 I think. I totally fell in
love. You can say that the keyboard is my ex husband and the guitar my new
lover. Spring 2004 I bought an electric
guitar. My beat
box park this time was Alesis SR16, DR Rhythm and CompuRhythm. I
had some guests in the studio again, how great isn’t it when somebody can add
something that you can’t do yourself. Back with her magic fingers was Ida
Lundén, she plays various keyboards. Per Magnusson has maybe the coolest
guitar sound on the planet, it’s electric guitar through a micro modular.
Back with his crazy energy is Henry More Selder doing some bass guitar and
triangle. Drummers, my favourites Niklas Korsell and Mikael Fröberg. The
mixing is done with a hard and generous hand by Paul Bothén at Element Studio in
Gothenburg and his sweet assistant Erik Sidung who jumped up and down each
time we started working on a new song. Love to you all. |
